Once a year, Yuu Kanda remembers.

And once a year, Kanda regrets.

And once a year, Kanda swears revenge...again.


Another piece for the Cosfest 2007! I intended this to be a contemplative piece, whereby Kanda reflects on, possibly, his sister's death, had he a sister... which would explain why he looks like a girl, just so he would remind himself of how much he looks like her, how much she used to love him, and maybe... her sacrifice.

And then, once a year, a man in 18th century London shivers in his thick coat on a foggy cold night and turns to look behind him...but sees nothing there...

But then, I realised Hoshino-sensei has pretty effectively eliminated darling Kanda from the face of the D.gray Man earth! SO, technically, this could also be in memory of Kanda. *but I don't want to think about that! (cries)* Okay, so let this be in the hopes of Kanda coming back.
